How OJO LLC handles your information

Last updated 23 September 2026 · Questions: hello@theojo.net

Who we are

OJO LLC is a company registered in the United States. We make and run our own products. This notice covers this website (theojo.net) and Tabill (tabill.ai), our shared ordering menu for restaurants and cafés, which is the product that handles the most personal information.

FlyZap is sold through Amazon, so when you buy one your order details are handled by Amazon under its own privacy notice. Our other products publish their own notice at the point where they collect anything.

Diners at a Tabill restaurant

You can scan a table’s QR code, order, pay and leave without giving us anything about yourself. Nothing below is required to eat, except in the two cases marked.

What we may hold, and why

  • Your first name, if you type it, so the people at your table, the kitchen and your captain know whose dish is whose. It lasts for that meal only unless you save it.
  • Your phone number, only if you choose to save your preferences. Giving it is how you ask us to remember you; the screen says what is kept with it before you type it. We confirm it with a one-time code.
  • What you prefer, kept with that number: your language, your diet, and past orders at each restaurant, so your next visit is quicker.
  • Allergies are kept only if you tap to keep them, separately from everything else. They are shown to the kitchen on your order so the food is made safely. They never go into a restaurant’s sales records or reports.
  • Your order and payment: what you ordered, what it cost and how you paid. Card details are taken by the restaurant’s payment company; Tabill never sees or stores your card number.
  • Two cases where a number is required. A restaurant that serves at a counter asks for a name and number so it can call you when your food is ready. And if a dish is cancelled or refunded, we ask for a name and number so the money can be traced back to you.

What travels between restaurants

If you save your preferences, your name, language, diet and allergies go with you to any restaurant that uses Tabill, so you do not type them again. Your order history stays with the restaurant where you ordered. A restaurant sees your saved details only while you are sitting at one of its tables, and keeps a short list of its own returning guests (visits, favourite dishes, last visit).

Offers

You will only ever get offers if you tick “Send me offers”. The box starts unticked. It covers offers from that one restaurant, and nobody else: no advertiser ever messages your phone. Some restaurants show adverts on their screens inside the restaurant; those send nothing to anyone.

Taking it back

On your “me” page you can reset your saved preferences in one tap. You can stop offers at any time, from that page or by replying STOP. To have your details erased entirely, write to hello@theojo.net (see your rights).

Tabill is for adults. If you are under 18, please order through the adult you are with.

WhatsApp messages

Tabill sends messages from one WhatsApp Business number, through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. We use it for sign-in codes, receipts you ask for, notices about your order, and offers you have ticked for. Meta carries these messages under its own terms and privacy policy. A sign-in code message contains the code and nothing else.

Restaurant staff

People who work at a restaurant that uses Tabill have their own account, set up by the restaurant. For them we hold: name, phone number and role; shifts, start and finish times; the cash each person handled and handed over; tips; ratings diners gave them; and, where the restaurant uses it, the photo and short line diners see with a captain’s name. Where a restaurant uses face recognition on a shared tablet to clock people in, it is used only with that employee’s agreement, and a PIN is always offered instead. The restaurant is the employer and decides how this information is used at work.

Restaurant owners

To run a restaurant’s account we hold the owner’s name, phone number and email, the business’s details, its menu, and its billing history with us. We use these to provide the service, to bill for it, and to help when asked.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the companies that run parts of the service for us, and only as much as each needs:

WhoWhat for
CloudflareHosting and the live connection between the diner, the kitchen and the floor
SupabaseThe database where records are stored
VercelServing the web pages
Meta (WhatsApp)Sending the messages described above
The restaurant’s payment companyTaking card payments and refunds, straight into the restaurant’s own account
AI providersReading a restaurant’s printed menu and improving dish photos. These see the restaurant’s menu, not diners’ details.

Some of these companies store or process information outside Jordan. Where a provider lets us choose, we keep stored records in the European Union. We would also share information if a court or the law required it.

When we study how Tabill is used across restaurants, we use totals only, with nothing that identifies a person.

How long we keep it

  • Name typed for a meal: that meal only, unless you save it.
  • Saved preferences and allergies: until you reset them or ask us to erase them.
  • Sales, payments, cancellations and refunds: up to 10 years, because tax and trade law require business records to be kept. A name and number given for a refund are kept while the refund is open and then hidden.
  • Staff records: for as long as the restaurant needs them for employment and as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, erase it, or stop using it for a purpose you agreed to. Write to hello@theojo.net from the phone number or email concerned, or tell us how to confirm it is you. It is free, and we answer within 15 working days. Erasing your details does not remove money records the law says we must keep; those stay, but are no longer used for anything else.

If you are in Jordan and unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the national authority for personal data protection.

This website

theojo.net does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not ask you for anything. If you email us, we keep the email to answer it. Our hosting provider keeps short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use details you have already given, we will tell you before it applies.
